2025 proved to be a busy and impactful year for SFTT. As with every year, we could not have done it without our sponsors, shooters, volunteers and board members. A special thanks goes out to Hugo Beyond the Yellow Ribbon (BTYR) and Federal Ammunition for their enduring support. We added Stefanie Hurt to the board. She is an Army wife and currently serves as the BTYR Outreach Coordinator. She brings a wealth of military family support experience and knows first-hand the needs of our service members, veterans and their families.
We want to express our sincere thanks to Wild Wings of Oneka and Rice Creek LeBlanc’s Hunting Preserve for hosting our events. Combined we had 39 (5 person) teams and nearly 200 shooters. Collectively we raised enough to distribute $45,000! The money raised supported several non-profits; the Minnesota Military Family Foundation (MMFF) which provides financial assistance grants to currently serving military and their families. In addition, we continued our support of the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) – the leaders in solving veteran homelessness, St. Cloud Stand Down which offers assistance to veterans in need, the Veterans Resiliency Project which offers treatment for PTSD, Recovery Community Network which offers substance abuse recovery for veterans and the Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network which hosts pheasant shoots for veterans and their youth.
Your support has been helping service members, veterans and their families for 17 years. With your help in 2026 our goal is to surpass $500,000 in total funds raised! You’ve helped countless military families in need and we are grateful for your continued support. Together we can achieve this amazing milestone!
In 2026 we look forward to seeing you on Thursday, September 10th at Wild Wings of Oneka-Hugo, MN. Registration is open NOW! Visit www.shootforthetroopsmn.com to learn how you can support.
